All the FREE material for making money you could imagine. The Public Domain has it all. Continue reading →

So just what is this thing called Public Domain?

The official explanation is all published material that does not renew it’s copyright by a certain time falls into the Public Domain and is therefor available for anyone to use as they wish.

In other words, it is a never ending supply of royalty free, no charge, no cost, do as you wish treasure trove of books, films, newspapers, magazines, comics and any other published material you can think of including everything published by the Government of the USA.

Waow!

That’s a lot of “stuff” you can have for FREE.

Most people think that anything in the Public Domain is too old to be of any use … WRONG! It is easier to “re-do” something rather than write it from scratch so anything “old” can be made new again to fit the times. Once you confirm it is copyright free you can do what you like with it and make it your own … cool eh?

Old newspapers and magazines can be an eternal source of articles for your article marketing campaigns … remember that magazines did the market research before publishing so it is all proven content for you to expand on.

Films can be edited to your desire without fear of someone complaining about copyright infringement.

Books can be re-written, modified and brought up to date then sold as eBooks or CD’s or whatever your preference may be.

Pictures can be re-printed and sold as there is a market for “old’ photo’s and posters etc.

You can gather plenty of old fashioned pictures to make your own Christmas and birthday cards with images like this below.

Have a look at the Images page for more examples of free pictures.

Maps can be a money maker as old local maps sell.

Just think about it for a while and you will realise that all that “stuff” can make you some cash and cost you nothing. Zilch!. Nada! All there for the taking.

However (and there is always a however) … WHERE do you find all this great material?

That is where you need the help of the experts. You can find everything yourself BUT that can take up hours of your time whereas the expert help will lead you straight to the treasure you are seeking.

One such expert is Debra Conrad from The Original Public Domain Treasure Hunter’s Kit. What Debra doesn’t know about Public Domain isn’t worth knowing. Her knowledge is vast and her help and support is the best I’ve ever seen. Ask a question and you WILL receive an answer more than you asked!

Another one to try is Public Domain Expert Tony Laidig. His toolbar system helps you find the sites you need to get the material … all from a toolbar … very neat. Tony has been teaching all things Public Domain for years so there isn’t much he can’t help you with.

However you look at it, the Public Domain can and will supply you with an unlimited amount of material.
